All events will require a signed contract. A deposit is required to save a specific date on the calendar. Final payment for your event is due 14 days prior to your event date. Payment plans and or terms may be available upon request. We accept cash, check or credit card.
Wait and bar staff are charged per event at $130 each. We staff events at 1 staff per 20 guests for buffet and 1 staff per 8 persons for sit down dinners. If stations are requested, staff members may be increased to attend the station. Events are charged for 2 hours of setup, 3 hours for event and 1 hour for clean up. Staffing past 6 hours will be charged at $25 per hour per staff member. Staff is paid by catering company and is included in the invoice.
Client is responsible for purchasing all alcohol and mixers including garnishes and ice. We can help with any quantities needed and suppliers. Legal responsibilities rest with the client and bartenders.
We can order all rentals and be responsible for all returns, which depends on the site chosen for the event and the menu, for a 20% handling fee along with the standard handling fee from the rental company. Otherwise the client will be responsible for all rental arrangements.
Milner’s Café & Catering is fully insured with 2 million dollars liability.
