We take great pride in creating menus to fit our clients’ specific tastes and desires. We often have catered to a specific theme and would love to work with you in doing so. We also have many local vendors we use for a variety of our meats, vegetables and herbs. We love to keep it as local as we can. It just tastes better that way. Ultimately we will strive to make your event the best it can be. We pride ourselves in our commitment to our clients’ satisfaction. We will do all in our power to make this a joy!

Boutique Catering Services

Contract

All events will require a signed contract. A deposit is required to save a specific date on the calendar. Final payment for your event is due 14 days prior to your event date. Payment plans and or terms may be available upon request. We accept cash, check or credit card.

Tastings

We offer tastings for your event. Please call us at 910.350.8899 or email us to set up a time for your personal tasting.

Staffing

Wait and bar staff are charged per event at $150 each. We staff events at 1 staff member per 20 guests for buffet and 1 staff member per 10 persons for sit down dinners. If stations are requested, staff members may be increased to attend the station. Events are charged for 2 hours of setup, 3 hours for event and 1 hour for clean up. Staffing past 6 hours will be charged at $25 per hour per staff member. Staff is paid by catering company and is included in the invoice. Gratuity is at the discretion of the client.

Bar

Client is responsible for purchasing all alcohol and mixers including garnishes and ice. We can help with any quantities needed and suppliers. Legal responsibilities rest with the client and bartenders.

Rentals

We can order all rentals and be responsible for all returns, which depends on the site chosen for the event and the menu, for a 20% handling fee along with the standard handling fee from the rental company. Otherwise the client will be responsible for all rental arrangements.

Insurance

Milner’s Café & Catering is fully insured with 2 million dollars liability.
